We believe that education is very important where new technologies and methodologies are being introduced and implemented.

There are many conflicting issues concerning insulation, which our Technical Director has studied for many years. Natural insulation materials regarded as 'safe' and 'ecofriendly' generally have low thermal performance, whereas most high performing insulation materials are regarded by many as potentially toxic and harmful to the environment.

It is important to bear in mind that increasing thermal insulation levels is largely unproductive unless airtightness is also increased. Air leakage has been shown to reduce the effectiveness of thermal insulation by up to 70% and so it is clear that if energy efficiency is to be improved in buildings, the insulation and airtightness must go hand in hand.

Poor installation is the cause of problems in performance with many types of insulation. It is essential to ensure that whatever type of insulation is used it is correctly joined and sealed

what does this mean
  • Safe in use
  • Air tight
  • Recyclable
  • High thermal performance
  • Negligible environmental damage during manufacture
  • Give return on investment
  • Easy to use
